[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Temoc was established in Mozambique in 2002 with over 30 years E&I experience to provide quality electrical and instrument contracting services to the Aluminium Smelting and other industrial processing industries, with a strong focus upon safety.
Temoc found success with the Aluminium Smelting and processing plants in the greater Maputo area of Mozambique where the requirement for a quality Electrical & Instrument service provider who provided good value for money service was recognized. In the early days Temoc assisted these sites greatly filling all their needs from design, improvement suggestions, supply, installation and commissioning as well as repairs and maintenance. Temoc still has contract works with these sites and considers them to be among their most loyal and valued clients.
There was a definite skills shortage identified and so an ongoing campaign was embarked upon in order to recognize and improve on our staff skills levels. Through interaction working alongside industry professionals with hands on approach and following internationally recognized training and qualifications standards, we have achieved success in developing these skills within our workforce.
In the years since our inception we have grown and today we are proud to offer a variety of E&I services to industry. We now have a dedicated product sales department to attend to customer spares requirements. We conduct in Mozambique panel construction and assembly services as well as have process control system integration capabilities. Our shutdown teams and shutdown supervisors are the best in the industry and we are continually investing in our equipment and resources to maintain this.
Through this journey we have also interacted and worked alongside many of the leading industry E&I product manufacturer brands as well as machine or process equipment manufacturers. From simple motor applications, complex control systems to large process plant infrastructure, we have been part of construction, commissioning and maintenance gaining valuable knowledge.
Temoc currently has a permanent local staff content well over 50 made up of supervisors, technicians, skilled and semi-skilled artisans. We also have design and engineering professionals within the Temoc group located in South Africa and Australia that form part of our global team for turnkey project design and construction requirements.
Commercial departments comprise of Finance, HR, Procurement and Logistics. Temoc has recognized the requirements by clients to have availability to spares and equipment they may require. We have a stocked store catering for most common utilized products. For products and equipment that is specific to client or project requirements we have a weekly delivery network from South Africa. We also have shipments from Europe and America.
Our main head office facilities comprise of 480m² of offices, stores and workshop area with calibration and electronic / electrical testing workstations on 4000m² industrial zoned lands.
